Long Island Knifepoint Robber Strikes Again

A knifepoint robber has struck on Long Island for a 17th time.

The Barn convenience store in Lake Ronkonkoma was hit just before noon on Sunday, marking the 17th time the suspect has struck.  The man had his face covered as he entered the store with a large knife, demanded money, and got away with an unknown amount of cash.

Since February, the suspect has struck 10 stores in Nassau County and 7 in Suffolk County.  No one has been injured in any of the robberies.
