A 32-year-old woman was shot in the knee Monday afternoon in Lower Manhattan.
The victim, who may have been an innocent bystander, was injured in the incident on Washington Street, near Battery Park, reports ABC 7 New York.
She was rushed to Bellevue Hospital. Her condition is not known.
Police are still investigating. They say the woman may have been caught in the crossfire of a dispute between two men.
