Manning Denies Fake Memorabilia Allegations

Giants quarterback Eli Manning is denying allegations that he was complicit in an alleged memorabilia scam.

“I’ve never done what I’ve been accused of doing.  I have no reason, nor have I ever had any reason to do anything of that nature.  I’ve done nothing wrong and I have nothing to hide and I know that when this is all done everybody will see it the same way,” Manning said.

A lawsuit accuses Manning of passing off helmets as game used.  The quarterback said an email showing him asking an equipment manager for two helmets was taken out of context and new filings would clear up the situation.

“It’ll all work out and when it all does I’ll be cleared of this and everybody will see that I’ve done nothing wrong,” Manning said.

H refused to go into specifics because the lawsuit is still pending.
