This is one of those good news, bad news stories. The good news is the pilot wasn't loaded, as in drunk. The bad news is the pilot tried to board a plane with a loaded .38 handgun and six extra rounds of ammo.
The Southwest Airlines pilot was not identified, but he was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon by TSA Agents.
The pilot's weapon was discovered when he went through the X-ray machine at Albany International Airport.
