Several people have been treated for minor injuries after a stampede at Coney Island.
People began fleeing from Luna Park on Sunday night after a false report of shots fired. It’s unclear what the sound was that was mistaken for gun shots, but it caused a scare for those celebrating the holiday.
The incident happened two days after a false report of shots fired sent people running out of Penn Station. In that situation, police used a Taser on a suspect.
