One good thing came out of the recent train derailments at Penn Station.
The NY Waterway has decided to continue the ferry service between Hoboken and Midtown permanently.
The service was initially put in place to handle the overflow of stranded commuters caused by the rail problems.
Officials at the NY Waterway hope to have the ferry service up and running full time by September.
