Man Saved After Falling Onto Subway Tracks

A Con Edison worker is being praised after saving a man who had fallen onto the subway tracks.

It happened Saturday night at the Third Avenue Station in Manhattan as commuters were waiting for an L train.  Jonathan Kullig saw the man fall onto the tracks and jumped down to help.  The incident was caught on video.

Kullig helped get the man back onto the subway platform, while other commuters also assisted.  A short time later, the L train arrived at the station.

The man was taken to the hospital.  It’s unclear what caused him to fall onto the subway tracks.
