New Jersey Institute of Technology math professor Bruce Bukiet has looked into his crystal ball and predicted the outcome of the freshly minted MLB season.
Actually, Mr. Bukiet uses a mathematical formula that would leave the majority of fans with an aching noggin.
The root of the mathematicians 19 –year-old-system is based on a player's stats from the preceding year.
Last year Mr. Bukiet picked all 5 of the National League Teams that made the playoffs.
Bukiet has enlisted his computer programming son to help streamline the process.
This year's predictions have good news for Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, and New York Mets fans in the National League.
The only American League news released has the Yankees finishing out of the playoffs.
