Sometimes NYPD officers have to be willing to get their hands dirty. And apparently, sometimes they have to get dirty with their hands.
Detective Robert Francis allegedly got dirty with his hands Sunday morning when he was caught masturbating in the backyard of a Rockville Centre home.
Witnesses say that Officer Francis shined his flashlight into several homes until he got the attention of the home owner.
Once he was sure he had an audience, he allegedly pointed his flashlight at his nightstick and started polishing it.
Officer Francis was charged with public lewdness, endangering the welfare of a child, and trespassing.
