The New York City Police Department has increased security at the British Consulate and other key locations after a terror attack in London.
“I talk about what keeps me up at night. It used to be traditional crime and now a lot of that has to do with terrorism,” Police Commissioner James O’Neill said.
Heavily armed counterterrorism officers are stationed around the city. The NYPD said the action wasn’t the result of a credible threat.
