New York City and much of the tri-state area is dealing with some snow on Friday.
The March storm is expected to deliver about 1-to-3 inches of snow for New York City. Areas north of the city could receive more, while the Jersey Shore could see less. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 2 p.m.
Alternate side of the street rules are suspended, but schools are open in New York City.
"We’re expecting some snow for the Friday morning commute. New Yorkers should allow for extra travel time and be prepared for slick road conditions," Emergency Management Commissioner Joseph Esposito said in a statement.
There’s the potential for a bigger snow storm on Tuesday.
