Canadian Tourist Robbed at NYC Hotel

The NYPD is looking for three suspects after a Canadian tourist was robbed and beaten inside a Manhattan hotel.

This happened at Hotel 309 on West 14th Street on Monday morning.  The tourist apparently knew one of his attackers and they planned to hang out together.

Police said when that man showed up at the hotel room, he had two other men with him, and they attacked the tourist.  The victim was pistol whipped and was choked with the cord from a hair dryer.

The suspects got away with $12,000 in cash, plus jewelry.

There have been no arrests.
