4-Alarm Fire Breaks Out in Passaic

More than 100 people were displaced after a four-alarm fire in Passaic, New Jersey on Thursday morning.

The fire broke out around 2 a.m. at a building at 99 Gregory Avenue.  The fire erupted on the first floor and then spread to other parts of the building.

An estimated 120 people were evacuated from the building.  They were taken to City Hall where they waited for word on when they would be able to return home.

Two firefighters were treated for smoke inhalation.  The cause of the fire is being investigated.
