A woman was saved from being robbed when a passerby saw her wrestling with a crook inside an ATM near Times Square.
The victim was making a transaction when Jerome Farris allegedly tried to rip her ATM card out of her hand.
The unknown hero saw the ruckus and ran into the ATM to assist the victim.
Farris ran from the ATM empty handed and was tracked down by two NYPD officers.
Farris has 32 prior arrests and is currently on parole for a robbery he committed last month.
