The NYPD believe a dog walker was accidentally dragged or fell to his death down a stairwell by the dogs he was walking.
The unidentified man was found at the bottom of the stairs at a Brooklyn building on Carroll Street near Van Brunt with two dogs, still leashed to the dead man's body.
Officials believe the man died when his head hit the concrete stairs.
