Police in Linden, New Jersey are investigating after a fake bomb was left near a bodega.
The device was found last night on the 1100 block of W. St. George Avenue. The Union County bomb squad was called in and dismantled the device, determining that it wasn’t a threat.
Mayor Derek Armstead said it was designed to look real.
Authorities are looking for the person responsible. The FBI is now involved in the investigation.
