Seven teenagers had to be pulled from a pond in Central Park after falling through ice.
The teens were reportedly playing around and taking selfies on the pond near 59th Street and Fifth Avenue when the ice broke and they fell into the water. A Good Samaritan identified as Bennett Jonas saw what happened and jumped into the water to help.
“If I didn’t jump in I didn’t think they were getting out,” Jonas said.
All seven teens were taken to the hospital to be treated for hypothermia.
