Can you imagine the beating you'd take if you stole your parent's car and drove from Ohio to NYC?
And then you totaled the car and forgot where you left it.
The fleeing Ohio part I understand, but stealing your parent's car and leaving without as much as a "see ya wouldn't want to be ya" speaks volumes on these two troubled teenage girls.
First, there's Trinity Goodwin, a 16-year-old who ran away a few months ago to hook up with a man in his 50's…ok.
She's the one that ripped off her mother's 2009 Pontiac G6 last week Monday to start the cross country fun fest.
Then there's her Co-Pilot Hailey Flowers, also 16-years-old. She thought it would be a good idea to post pictures of their Thelma and Louise type adventure to Facebook, which eventually led to their capture.
After a week of worry, a member of the Flowers family contacted the NYPD and the cops were able to negotiate an amicable surrender with the girls.
Hailey Flowers parents came to NYC to pick her up.Trinity Goodwin is being held without bail and will be sent back to Ohio for violating probation on another charge, as well as grand theft auto.
An Amber Alert was issued last week when the girls went missing.
