Light snow and gusty winds are expected to continue through this evening in New York City and the Tri-State area as a low-pressure system moves through the Northeast.
The Alberta Clipper system is not expected to produce heavy snow, but slick travel conditions are to be expected, especially on untreated roads.
Gusty winds may lead to blowing and drifting snow conditions Tuesday. Motorists are advised to use extra caution.
The air is expected to warm up into the evening, with a slight chance of more precipitation this evening, as the system moves north.
