Even after a career spanning decades including six top ten hits and three number ones, Felix Cavaliere of the Rascals told 710 WOR’s Mark Simone he still loves performing.
“When you see those smiling faces out there…it really feels good,” Cavaliere said.
The Rascals are bringing their shows to our area in the next week, with a stop this Saturday, June 24, at the Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, Connecticut, and at the Jersey Shore next Tuesday, June 27, with a stop in Ocean City.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer promises all the Rascals’ big hits will be included in the set list at his area shows.
“We have a good time, and we ask the audience to really kind of join in, which is what they like to do because it brings back all those wonderful memories,” said Cavaliere.
Cavaliere also remembered fondly his group’s days of appearing on the Ed Sullivan Show, which is marking its 50th anniversary, and the many huge names in rock and roll who also appeared on Sullivan’s stage including the Beatles and Elvis Presley.
