Amazon Prime Day began on Tuesday July 8th this year and will continue on through Friday July 11th. That means if you have not made any purchases yet, you still have time and plenty of deals are still available. Rich DeMuro, host of ‘Rich on Tech’ on WOR Sundays, spoke with Mendte in the Morning about the best tips to ensure that you are getting the best deals on Prime Day items.
“There are two ways to do this… Amazon was testing a price history link on the mobile app near the price; look for that, look closely, if you see that it will show you chart with up to 90 days of pricing history on Amazon,” DeMuro told host Larry Mendte. “There is another way to access this; Amazon has an AI assistant called ‘Rufus’ if you’re on the mobile app there's a little icon in the lower right hand corner, you tap that and then you press show price history.”
DeMuro believes that the deals this year are worth it as we near the end of the event: “We still have another two full days of shopping on Amazon; Prime Day runs through Friday so the deals are looking pretty good this year, I’ve seen a lot of the stuff that I’ve been tracking is actually on sale.”
