Len Berman and Michael Riedel talked with former New York Governor David Paterson after he and his stepson were attacked Friday night.
Paterson explained that the incident started as a verbal confrontation with a couple of kids that quickly turned into a melee, thanks to a purple-haired woman who became loud and began to antagonize the crowd. By now, people in the neighborhood, including adults and teenagers, started beating my stepson mercilessly even though he had already been knocked to the ground. "When I tried to get over to help my stepson a guy got in my way, and I don't know how I did this, but I grabbed him and slammed him against a McDonald's window, and he fell to the ground, so I'll remember him, but I think he'll remember me longer," said Paterson. Paterson's stepson had his lip busted and got a few stitches, the Governor escaped with a few bruises
