With more reports of the alleged shady business conducted by Eric Adams and his administration coming out seemingly every day, 710 WOR’s Len Berman and Michael Riedel in the Morning spoke with Katie Honan, Senior Reporter for The City and co-host of FAQNYC, about the mayor’s unwillingness to leave office.
“It’s still too soon to tell, at least from my understanding because the mayor is incredibly stubborn, I guess you would say in a good way,” Honan told Berman and morning news anchor Larry Mendte (filling in for Riedel) when asked if Adams would be able to stay in office through all of his legal battles. “He believes he was destined to be Mayor, and his lawyer is trying to get the case tossed out.”
Honan added that other trials involving those close to him could change his stance. “I think a lot depends on how many more people within his administration might get charged in other investigations.”
