A closely watched Democratic primary will be settled on Tuesday, with Congressman Jamaal Bowman and Westchester County Executive George Latimer squaring off in the race for the 16th Congressional district.
Bowman is the incumbent, but Latimer has led in recent polls. That caused Senator Bernie Sanders and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to both rally with Bowman over the weekend to try and save his job.
Bowman has drawn the ire of many because of his remarks that are perceived to be critical of Israel.
