Len Berman and Michael Riedel talked with Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman about his executive order banning men transitioning to women from participating in women's sporting events being overthrown.
Blakeman said the judge in the case ruled he (Blakeman) did not have the authority to make that decision on his own, even though the plaintiffs in the case said he did. Blakeman said, "The judge presented arguments and statements that weren't raised by either side, so we were left scratching our heads. Why would the judge do this unless he just decided he didn't want to hear the case on its merits and decided to throw it out on a technicality, it makes no sense." Blakeman said Nassau County would appeal the judge's decision.
