Ask Londoners What Congestion Pricing Has Done To Their City

Len Berman and Michael Riedel talked with ABC News London correspondent Tom Rivers about what to expect when Congestion Pricing hits NYC.

Tom said, "Talking about congestion pricing is like peeling an onion, there are several layers to discuss. When London adopted the plan in 2003, it cost drivers $6.00 to drive through certain parts of London. Now it costs $18.00. London Mayor Sadiq Khan has added another layer. If your car is older than 2006, you have to pay $14.00 to drive in any part of central London, presumably to promote the use of electric cars as the Democrats have done in the United States. It's safe to say congestion pricing has gone over like a lead balloon with the people in London.
