Len Berman & Michael Riedel in the Morning:
Hunter Biden decided to crash a House Oversight Committee meeting this week in an attempt to show the public he is more than willing to testify about his tax fraud case. Unfortunately for Hunter, his sneak attack failed, and he was charged with contempt of Congress for ignoring two subpoenas. Len and Michael talked with Representative Anthony D'Esposito from NY's 4th Congressional District about the President's son's behavior.
Award-winning USA Today national sports columnist Christine Brennan got to know gymnast Mary Lou Retton well through the years. She broke the story in October of Retton’s daughter asking for donations to save her ailing mother. Now, however, Brennan says many people are suddenly asking questions about where the donations went. Brennan talked with Len and Michael this week about Retton’s refusal to answer even the most basic questions about her health.
A round of winter storms ripped through the tri-state area on Tuesday, and while it wasn’t quite as bad as initially feared, the rain and wind still did enough damage in the New York City suburbs. Westchester County Executive George Latimer and Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman both spoke with Len and Michael on Wednesday morning to assess the storm damage and cleanup.
Mark Simone:
Pollster John McLaughlin gave Mark a peek behind the curtain this week at the true inside polls that show just how far President Trump is ahead of President Biden in the race for the White House in November.
Political insider Monica Crowley spoke with Mark this week about the Democrats’ desperate efforts to try to bring President Trump down ahead of the November election.
Will the Democrats swap out former First Lady Michelle Obama for President Biden ahead of the November election? Streaming host Bill O’Reilly addressed the rumors about that with Mark this week.
