Len Berman and Michael Riedel talked with Staten Island Representative and NYC Minority City Council member Joe Borelli about the migrant issues. Joe told the guys Staten Islanders are angry with Mayor Adams for sending migrants into suburban neighborhoods to live in newly erected tent cities. Michael Riedel asked Borrelli what effect thousands of new students will have on NYC public schools. Borelli told the guys, the number of migrant children being placed in public schools can be handled because of the dropping enrollment. The real problem with migrants entering schools is finding and paying for specialized educators, with school budgets shrinking every year. Borelli said if you continue to offer migrants free everything, more will come.
