An overwhelming number of New Yorkers say the migrant crisis is a serious problem and more than half say it's time to stop the flow of migrants into the city.
“More than three-quarters of Republicans and 60% of independents say New Yorkers have done enough and must now slow the flow of migrants to the state, rather than accept and help assimilate them into New York, while Democrats are evenly divided," Siena College pollster Steven Greenberg said.
By an 82 to 16 margin, voters tell a Siena College poll that the crisis is a serious problem. The survey also found that 58 percent of New Yorkers believe it's time to stop accepting migrants in the city.
Voters also disapprove of the jobs that Mayor Adams and Governor Hochul are doing to address the migrant situation.
