Len and Michael talked with Dr. Gregory Poland, an Infectious Disease Expert from the Mayo Clinic. Poland told the guys sooner or later everyone will get infected with covid, even people who are fully boosted. Poland reminded the guys that the virus is still killing over 100 people a day. The boosters and masks are not used to make you immune to the virus, they are used to keep the virus from getting you seriously ill and hospitalized. A newly updated booster will be introduced this Fall to ease the infections that are expected over the early winter.
