Violence in parking lots at sports arenas across the U.S. is a growing problem.
Experts say the greatest potential for violence is after an event, especially when sporting people have consumed alcohol. At SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Austin Willenbring says he was walking to his car after a Chargers football game when he was thrown over a bridge. His sister followed and videotaped the suspect but no arrests have been made.
"Parking areas are one of the most important issues I focus on," says crowd-management consultant Bill Georges, president and CEO of The Georges Group LLC. "Left unchecked and unmanaged, parking areas have the greatest potential to be the breeding ground for bad behavior."
