Former Airline Pilot Now Helps Fliers Overcome "Aerophobia"

Thirty-six-year-old Tiffany Schmermund is so scared to fly she's only done it twice in her life.

It's clinically known as aerophobia and symptoms can range from extreme anxiety, dizziness and nausea. Experts say the best way to overcome the fear of flying is to address it head-on.

Schmermund flew from Florida to Texas to meet with Captain Ron Nielsen. He's a former airline pilot who now helps fearful fliers overcome their anxiety.
