Josh Claramunt was swimming with his dad and his dad's best friend when he started shouting for help.
That's when a troop of mermaids popped up out of the water to help. The first mermaid rendered aid to his dad's best friend, a second mermaid calmed Claramunt down and a third mermaid pulled everyone to shore.
The rescuers are members of the Professional Association of Diving Instructor’s mermaid program. They were doing a training exercise when they came upon the struggling divers.
