New York the long wait is finally over!
Yankees legend Derek Jeter will formally be inducted to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, today after the COVID-19 pandemic postponed the event last year. The ceremony will also include a special video presentation honoring the Hall of Famers we've lost since the 2019 induction. The induction will be broadcast live on MLB Network and live streamed on MLB.com at 1:30 P.M. EST.
Jeter will be joined in the Class of 2020 by Colorado Rockies star Larry Walker, St. Louis Cardinals catcher/first basemanTed Simmons and the late former labor leader Marvin Miller. The ceremony will be held on the grounds of Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown, New York β located one mile south of the Hall of Fame Museum.
No one was elected to the Hall in 2021.
