A reporter kept his cool when his storm coverage was interrupted. It happened live on MSNBC when Shaquille Brewster was reporting on Tropical Storm Ida from Gulfport, Mississippi.
He and his crew caught the attention of someone driving by. The video shows a white pickup truck pull over right behind Brewster as he’s reporting. A man gets out of the vehicle and starts running over to the crew.
The man has now been identified as Benjamin Eugene Dagley of Wooster, Ohio. Arrest warrants have been issued for Dagley, charging him with two counts of simple assault, one count of disturbing the peace and one count of violation of emergency curfew.
