It’s safe to say that everybody has their own idea of what is considered "fun," whether it's going to amusement parks, hanging out at clubs, or enjoying outdoor activities. Well apparently, there are some states in this country better suited to those who like to have fun, and now a new list is naming names.
- WalletHub just came out with their list of the Most Fun States in America.
- The judged all 50 states on 26 key indicators in areas of entertainment and recreation, and nightlife.
- Factors include restaurants per capita, golf courses, movie theaters per capita and more, as well as average price of beer and wine, time of last call, number of casinos per capita and more.
- With all that in mind, California tops the list as the Most Fun State, earning a total score of 60.81 out of 100, and landing first in entertainment and recreation, and fifth in nightlife.
- Not surprising, Nevada, home of Las Vegas, lands on top for nightlife, although the state is third overall.

- On the other end of the spectrum, if you're looking to live in a snoozefest, West Virginia is the place to be, scoring a 14.67, and ranking 49thfor both entertainment and recreation and nightlife.
