Firefighters have spent the overnight battling a huge recycling plant fire in Jersey City, New Jersey.
The smoke and smell of burning plastic and metal has wafted as far away as Brooklyn. It's not clear what sparked the blaze at the plant in the shadow of the State of Liberty. Numerous area fire departments are still at the scene, along with a FDNY marine unit. No word of any injuries.
The blaze is only partially contained.
