Apple is being sued over its iPhone warranty and claims about how water resistant the smartphones are.
The federal lawsuit launched Saturday in New York City was filed as a class action complaint. To skip around the legal jargon: Apple tested their phones with plain water. Because of that, the water resistance claim...and any claims for water damage you file for… don’t include pool water or salt water (the ocean).
The suit also points out that Apple’s suggestion of rinsing off a phone that’s been douse with juice or anything like it, may make the warranty void.
