Multiple people have been shot at a grocery store on Long Island, according to local reports.
At least three people were injured in the shooting at a Stop & Shop grocery story in West Hempstead at around 11 a.m. Tuesday.
One victim is believed dead and two others were wounded.
Authorities were actively looking for 30-year-old Gabriel DeWitt Wilson, who is described as a person of interest whom they "believe" to be responsible for the gunfire, NBC 4 New York reports.
Anyone with information regarding Wilson is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS (8477).
"Do not approach if you see him; please call 911 immediately," the department said.

The suspect was wearing all black when he walked into the office area of the Stop & Shop late Tuesday and opened fire with a small handgun.
Wilson reportedly fled the scene, possibly on a bus. He was last seen heading westbound on Hempstead Turnpike.
As of early Tuesday afternoon, a manhunt was underway in the West Hempstead area, northeast of John F. Kennedy International Airport.
Video from the scene shows at least a dozen ambulances and police vehicles gathered outside the grocery store.
The West Hempstead School District reported that it was under "lock out" and urged parents and guardians of students not to come to the building.
