A 21-year-old Brooklyn woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a 14-year-old girl in the subway earlier this month, police said Monday morning.
Bianca Lewis and the teen had a dispute on March 13 at a deli on Rutland Road. Police say when the girl left the store, Lewis followed her into the Sutter Avenue-Rutland Road train station.
On the mezzanine area of the No. 3 line, the argument turned physical, NBC New York reports. Police say Lewis pulled out a knife and stabbed the girl in the chest. She fled the scene and was arrested this past weekend.
The victim was hospitalized in critical but stable condition after the attack. An update on her condition was not available early Monday.
