6-year-old German Shepherd named Sadie in New Jersey is being called a hero for saving her owner's life!
Sadie's owner Brian suffered a stroke at his New Jersey home last week. Sadie helped Brian by licking his face to keep him awake and then dragging him across the room so that he could reach his cell phone. The most amazing part though is that Sadie had only been adopted b Brian a few months ago from Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge!
"Though her bio noted that she was especially nervous with men, Brian felt a special bond with Sadie, as he valued her intelligence, hesitancy to trust and fierce loyalty once she did form that trust. Brian gave Sadie a second chance at life, adopting Sadie and welcoming her home," RBARI said. "This time, Sadie gave Brian a second chance at life."
Brian said the two of them go on FaceTime every night while he is recovering in the hospital.
