A former music teacher, now 80 and suffering with dementia, has stunned the internet with an amazing feat.
Paul Harvey’s son Nick gave him four notes to improvise a piece of music with. What surprised everyone is the work that came from the exercise. The notes were F,B,A, and D.
It’s long been thought that music opens a gateway to those with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Mr. Harvey’s song adds weight to that.
The song was so good that the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra added their talents to “Four Notes” and it’s now a single and very viral. Money raised will go to charities.
