Former Trump Campaign Manager Steve Bannon Arrested

Former Trump Campaign manager and White House adviser Steve Bannon has been indicted with three others for illegally funneling money from a crowd sourcing project to build a border wall.

Prosecutors in Manhattan say the defendants defrauded hundreds of thousands of Americans who contributed to the "We Build The Wall" project where they promised 100-percent of the money would be spent on building a wall between the U.S. and Mexico.

Prosecutors claim the four men took hundreds of thousands of dollars of funds from the 25-million raised – in Bannon’s case, perhaps as much as one-million. They also claim they took steps to hide the money they took, including creating false invoices. Bannon has been released on $5-million bail. Bannon's arrest brings the total of Trump associates facing legal trouble to 15.
