Joe Biden is holding a commanding lead ahead of the November presidential election. The presumptive Democratic nominee has an eleven-point advantage over President Trump in a new national poll by NBC News and Wall Street Journal
The same survey also found only 42% approve of Trump's job in the White House. What gives? Apparently, many voters are unhappy with his handling of the coronavirus pandemic and race relations. On a positive note for the President, 54% approved of his job with the economy.
As for Trump, he says he doesn't buy polls showing him losing to Biden. During a White House news conference, Trump argued that many polls were wrong in 2016 and said enthusiasm for his re-election campaign is greater now than it was then.
