Trump To Hold His Return Rally In Tulsa

President Trump will be back on the campaign trail June 19th in Tulsa, Oklahoma – his first campaign rally since COVID-19 shut down large events earlier this year. And other issues aside, a lot of people aren’t happy.

You see, for those who don’t know, the date is known as Juneteeth, a day that marks the emancipation of the last slaves in the Confederate States of America. The other issue is Tulsa itself – because of the Tulsa Race Massacre in 1921. That’s when white mobs destroyed the wealthiest black community in the nation, murdering dozens.

Many have seen the choice of location and the timing as pretty tone deaf given the current state of the country. Either way, he’s pressing on and those who wish to attend this rally and others in the coming months with see another sign of the times: a coronavirus disclaimer.

Those purchasing tickets online will need to accept an online agreement that they will not sue the Trump campaign or the venue if they become infected with COVID-19. The disclaimer acknowledges the potential for exposure to the virus.
