Woman Says She's In Love With A Chandelier

A woman claims that she doesn't just enjoy her beautiful chandelier but that she fell head over heels in love with it. And she just learned that British regulators will not consider her attraction to light fixtures a protected sexual orientation.

Amanda Liberty wasn't at all happy about the way a columnist wrote about her love for the chandelier in an annual ‘awards’ column and asked readers whether she was ‘Dim & Dimmer?’ Amanda complained to the UK's biggest press regulator, known as Ipso and claimed the article was discriminatory.

The paper said it didn't doubt Liberty's attraction to the light fixture, but argued that discrimination rules didn't pertain to the attraction between a person and an object. They agreed with the paper.
