- TripAdvisor has just come out with their annual Travelers' Choice awards for destinations,
- They’ve split destinations into two categories:
- Trending - locations that saw the biggest increase in positive reviews, booking interest and searches.
- Emerging – destinations that travelers have started saving to their Trips section on the site, indicating they are about to become hotspots.
So, which destinations have made this year's lists?
- Well, the top Trending destination in the U.S. is Key Largo, Florida.
- The top Emerging destination in the world is Kaliningrad, Russia, between the Baltic Sea, Poland and Lithuania.
- The only U.S. destination to make it on the Emerging list is Tulsa, Oklahoma, which lands at 13.
