This is hard to believe but a restaurant in New York City that was owned by a non-profit group has closed its doors because they couldn't make a profit.
Colors, which was opened in 2006 by surviving Windows of the World employees after 9/11, had actually closed in 2017 but was hoping to make a comeback this year after re-opening on December 23 with the help of a non-profit restaurant organization focused on employing a diverse collective at fair wages.
However, it appears those employed may have been paid more than a fair wage as chef Sicily Johnson was taken by surprise after she received a call saying the restaurant was closing its doors because revenue wasn't attainable.
