Termane Smith of Naugatuck, CT, was arrested for allegedly shooting his ex-girlfriend over child support payments.
The victim who, was not identified, showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound on November 3, 2019, reports say. She told police that her ex-boyfriend showed up to her home after they argued about child support and shot her in the arm.
An article published in the New York Post states that Smith was charged with first-degree assault, criminal possession of a firearm, and illegally firing a gun and is currently is in custody.
