The shooting in Jersey City that killed a police officer and three others inside a Kosher market is being investigated as a case of domestic terrorism.
“We believe that the suspects held views that reflected hatred of the Jewish people,” Attorney General Gurbir Grewal said.
Authorities said Dave Anderson and Francine Graham targeted the market.Five weapons were recovered, including an AR-15 style weapon and a 12-gauge shotgun.
“The evidence points towards acts of hate. I can confirm that we're investigating this matter as potential acts of domestic terrorism, fueled both by anti-Semitism and anti-law enforcement beliefs,” Grewal said.
